The Saint Joseph Chamber of Commerce and the Saint Joseph Human Rights Commission are joining to present a Non-Discrimination Workshop on October 15th.
Director of Communications and Marketing for the Saint Joseph Chamber, Kristi Bailey, says the event was created to educate employers.
"The Chamber decided to work with the Human Rights Commission to better educate our employers on how to make sure that they are including everyone whether it's a matter of race, gender, cultural belief, what have you. So this workshop really will kind of cover the gamut and help our employers learn how they can look at things in a different way and maybe do things a little differently."
The workshop will take place from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at emPowerU, 518 South Sixth Street in Saint Joseph on October 15th.
